I had booked sites and a CL earlier in the year, not all with CAMC and just in the hope that we would be able to start going away again. I'm now looking at C&CC THS (temporary hoiday sites) which if all is ok we'll use for short breaks, some nice venues and no bookings needed for quite a few.

I've also just been giving the van a close inspection so that's another cleaning job, will leave OH to do the outside, which has got quite bad, or as a neighbour said about his "a roof suitable for tomato growing...." wink

Good luck with all your plans.

And by golly he was right.....even those who have denounced club sites as being only for the unadventurous are flocking back, bet Southport is full laughing

You obviously haven't looked. Plenty of space outside August at all the sites I looked at. Agree with your assessment of club sites but if  I wanted adventures I would be looking elsewheresmile

Would expect a tailing off after the August BH weekend, but never looked at anything after June in the UK , simply because July/August in the UK is much to busy for us, and we already have Sept all booked up with a 1 month stay in Devon booked last year laughing

I'm have sites booked but I'm waiting to hear about communal areas.

Posted on 25/02/2021 14:25

well if they are not open until i think the 17th May it looks like we will have to use the shower in the caravan which will be a first for us. Dont see why facilities should stay  closed, most public toilets in our area are open so why not on campsites ?

The Club has said it is seeking guidance from the Govt about opening facility blocks on 12 April, JV.  It's still awaiting a decision.

"Had that"? 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

The CAMC position is -

"We are however awaiting further clarification on the use of communal areas and shared facilities (including toilet blocks and showers) and will advise on this as soon as possible."
