I would sooner spent 2K going abroad, whether by plane or caravan, than spend 1K holidaying in this country on a CAMC site. The cost of any holiday has to be balanced against the new experiences gained and in my view a foreign holiday is always worth every penny.

Don't forget you won't find any pockets in shrouds.

You can find just as many new experiences in the UK as anywhere else AG. In fact anywhere new will be a new experience by definition? The part about CAMC sites is immaterial, they are just bases to explore the surrounding countryside.

I've had just as many equally enjoyable holiday here and abroad.

sorry to disappoint, but i cant remember the last time i used a CAMC site, probably Breamar and only used that because it was close to Glenshee which was our nearest ski resort when we lived in Scotlandlaughing

we find lots of new experiences both over there and over here, but perhaps we are too easily pleased laughing

Not planning to wear shrouds any time soon laughing

So ,how has 2020 affected me ?, well , I’ve got no friends,I don’t go to the pub ,I don’t go overseas, I had no plans to go away in 2020 ! .so I’ve spent more time in my shed watching paint dry and trying to talk to the spiders ! , so 2020 hasn’t affected me cool

I generally found the spiders had an air of offhand superiority

We like to tour both here and over there and enjoy both. However, we spent a significant part of our savings on a new MH with the express intention of taking it to Europe once a year. The ferry is booked for September, if at all possible we will be taking up that booking and touring as we please for 6 weeks.
