To hedge or not?

After staying on campsites abroad with hedges in between pitches we've decided we really like this idea and would like to see more campsites in the UK do the same.

Would you prefer a hedge around your pitch? I would suggest something without thorns and to a height of approx 4ft. This would be just enough to give a little privacy without feeling excluded. It might also help attract more wildlife to stay on the site as well.

I'm aware that some sites do have a few pitches with hedges, Whitewater being one example, but would you be in favour of the club planting many more hedges on our sites?

Here is an aire that is part of a real car park, but the addition of hedges (and the larger spaces) changes the character of that section of the parking area. This particular one is just a few hundred yard from a lovely village.

Also, one of our favourite commercials uses hedges to create smaller, more intimate, 6-van, sections breaking up what would be a much larger area.
