We recently had a few very enjoyable days at the CC site at Longleat with two of our grandchildren. Its five years since we were last there and the attractions on the Longleat estate have undergone some great improvements and i can recommend it for adults aswell as children.Let me just draw your attention to one of these attractions within the main house. Now as you walk round the house you come across the corridor you can see below off one of the large state rooms. It cordoned off but you can see down the corridor.Every few minutes there is a strange humming noise and the lights begin to flicker and you can here footsteps Surprised then the shadow of what appears to be a child decends the stairs turns at the bottom and walks down the corridor. The shadow then pauses in the light of a doorway (you can see the shadow of the child in the picture below) and then continues on down the corridor as the footsteps fade away.

It really is very effective and our grandchildren stood and watched it four or five times in awe Happy so if you go in the house watch out for the ghost.
