Summer Holiday Week-End bookings!

We struggle every year to find a site of our choice when booking a 2 week summer stay because week-ends are fully booked with casual caravanners.

May I suggest that during the months of July and August, site managers permit only a third of their total pitches for casual bookings (less than 5 days) requested between December and June, then, if available, release pitches to all after June. This will give ample time for main bookings rather than allowing casual caravanners booking several sites during the same dates only to cancel later nearer the date after deciding which site to take.

All to often, we here campers having to move on because week-enders fill the site.
