Suggestion for site WiFi

It seems to me that the discussions regarding site WiFi consist of costs and not having an always on connection without costing the earth.

I am not sure if this is possible but could the Club investigate whether the current suppliers would allow the sale of an amount of download, something like 250mb/500mb or even 1gb. Subject to the usual expiry time of 6 months (or longer if that is changed for hour cards) The advantage of this is that it would allow an always on connection without the need to keep logging on and off. In terms of cost I would imagine similar to what a mobile network might charge so about £15 for 1GB. Given that the costs involved in supplying WiFi is often decided by data through put or bandwidth this might provide a more flexible approach to members wanting to use site WiFi. I would see this side by side with the current hour cards. What do people think?
