I originally thought the electric supply might be in a separate bollard but the screenshot posted by Corners shows EHU is catered for within the same bollard. I’d not expect the plans to show if there’s a meter🙂

Hi everyone, the reason the original discussion was closed was because it got heated and went off topic. We are happy for this one to remain open but please keep on topic and free from disagreements. Part of the OP was amended so the post is about Steamer Quay and not moderation. Many thanks.

I agree TW , but it would be nice to know. A bit more detail from the Club would be welcome along with clarification whether the intention is as it appears to be that all pitches will be serviced? To know might not make a lot of difference as to whether I would use the site or not but it would indicate Club thinking and where they are heading.

I think the site will be very popular Peedee although a lot more expensive. I expect some will enjoy a longer season for visiting too. Personally I'm pleased we've enjoyed it's simplicity and peace, it will undoubtedly change.

Is there a projected opening date for the refurbished site?

Not much if at all before mid summer is my guess. The target for planning approval is 17th February and even if that is met there could be at least a good three months work?

I am sure it will, I might be tempted out of season but not otherwise.

Evening

I think DK, after chatting to the SQ manager it's looking to be around mid summer time. Sites like that with a high water table are obviously weather dependant.

Thanks JK, sounds as if September might be a good bet for a trip down that way.
