This is now our 4th weekend away as caravaners at, despite it only being 15 minutes tow from home, we decided to take a weekend away it the Slinfold club site.

I just wanted to say what a great welcome we had. We arrived late (7.30) and the wardens welcomed us witha bright smile and a "welcome to Slinfold". The asked us what type of pitch we liked (grass/ hard standing etc) and then walked down with us to an pitch we liked. They then helped us to set up and showed our young children how to get water.

my wife arrived separately later and was also shown to the pitch.

So apart from a duff water pump in the van and our our 5 year old daughter breaking a curtain in a rand new van it's shaping to be great.

Just wanted to say well done and thanks folks.
