Sites without a toilet block

I am also interested as to why the OP would use a Club site with no facilites but would discount a CL. Typically Club sites are of a generic nature whilst CLs are unique. Just interested what he feels he needs that a CL could not provide in abundance.

Apart from one or two of the club sites already  mentioned  and many years ago I cant remember using another site without at least  minimum facilities and would if I found myself at one turn around and move to a proper campsite. However I think I am right in saying that in the countries of mainland Europe they would not be licenced to operate so not a problem.

And what happens in mainland Europe would certainly not be a problem for the OP who is asking about club sites 😂😂😂.

The only CL we have used was all hard standing. However, many are all grass and where there is a mixture getting a HS is not always guaranteed, if reviews are anything to go by. If we booked one well in advance, as is our normal policy, I would want a guaranteed HS. The OP might think similarly.

That is where we are different, we would only book a maximum of  a week head. As we are retired we don't feel the need to plan ahead. Even our recent trip to Austraila was only booked a couple of momths before.

Well there you go Burt, you've answered your own question, we are all different.

Also I'm not sure what booking a week ahead or planning ahead has to do with wanting a CL with a hardstanding a Steve posts? are you saying that you won't get a CL without a HS unless you book far in advance?

Yes it will WTG, bookings and vacancies are easily sorted on clbooking although many CLs have very good web sites too and others just require a bit of patience. smile
