How long does it take to get a night’s refund?  It’s been ten days now, I phoned the site, no one got back to me, I phoned the CAMC and they gave me an email address, all I’ve had is acknowledgment.

A little more detail would help us to help you? What site was it?

On the very rare occasions when I had to change sites the refund was done there and then on site.

As CS says more info is required. If you left a night early without giving sufficient notice (I think 72 hours) you would not be due a refund.

More than 72 hours notice was given, site staff said a refund would did be put in place.  Not sure what difference it makes but it was Hawes.

We have been given refunds on our payment card as soon as we advised the site office staff, we would be moving on early

Perhaps this is something new but like JVB we were always given refunds on the spot. Perhaps something has gone wrong. Sorry can't be more help.

PS - it goes back in to the card you used to pay with, so do you have different cards? I've been caught out like that before.

Refunds to cards do take a day or two longer than sales to appear on your account but not ten days! Sounds as if its been forgotten about and hopefully your email will result if the refund being done. One would hope that they would confirm that action but there is a possibility they might just do the refund so  I suggest you keep an eye on your account over the next couple of days just in case.

Thanks for the replies, I have phoned the site and they actually answered rather than go to voice mail.  I think we’ve established that the member of staff who dealt with it had messed up by saying she didn’t need the card in order to refund.  I did find this surprising at the time.  According the the site manager it’s now out of their hands so I have  rung Head Office again who are going to chase it for me.
