Just been to a newly renovated site and found new corporate signage adorns. We now have Americanisms with Bathrooms describing the facilities. Not a bath in sight!  What is so wrong with English English?🤣

I've used a family bathroom on a club site in the past and made a donation to the charity box in reception.  There are times when only a soak in a bath will do and only when it comes with a glass of bubbles.

Regarding the 'Americanisms' though - I detest the use of the word 'utilise'.  What's wrong with just saying 'use'?

'Utilise' has a slightly different shade of meaning from 'use'. Its origin is not American.

Beat me to it WTG.

I understand they are different.  For example you may use a bat to play cricket, but you could also utilise it as a self-defence weapon or, you may use a pen to write or utilise it as a bookmark.
