Hi forumites, just spent a week in a C Club site at Seacroft Cromer, picked the right week for weather, welcome on site by wardens was wonderful, lovely lady she was too, site very nice and quite full most of the week. Now the first two nights in the bar entertainment room (Elke Brook look a like Stars in their eyes winner was marvelous) was fine a nice couple running the bar and on Saturday night bar stayed open till 11.00pm although very few people in and on Sunday night stayed open till 10.30 with only four of us in, the upset came on Monday night with a youngish chap behind the bar who suddenly shut the Bar at 10.10pm without any warning of last orders or drink up gentlemen please, now a friend and myself were enjoying a game of pool and thought we would get another drink in but when we asked he said the bar was closed and that it was not the sites policy to shout time and he was quite indignant that he didnt need to. Anyway he did us a favour really because the following night after deciding we would not frequent the bar again we walked the short distance down the road to the local pub and low and behold found that the two drinks were £1.20 cheaper needless to say we went there for a couple of pints the following nights. Now i understand that if very few people use the bar at night that they may want to save costs and shut early and this is fine if they say what time they are closing or indicate a closing time when you go to the bar but to just shut it without warning and not even recieve a polite apoligy then to me that is not on, needless to say i will think twice before going there again.
