I'm beginning to wonder if some of the disatisfaction and grumpiness coming from all sorts of members stems from the fact that many caravan sites are much too crowded. The packing them in principle may bring in revenue but if the holiday experience is not so pleasant as it might be due to being too close to your neighbours have the sites now gone too far in minimum pitch spacing? Sometimes we choose a big site because it's near somewhere we like etc but smaller sites can be just as crowded. As I didn't caravan in the "good old days" I can't compare anything. What do you think? Undecided
