Sailing...

Greetings to all!  We last year invested in our first caravan (having been swamped in a deluge of mud and water twice in one month holidaying under canvass...) and can't wait to get out this year in the Abbey Vogue 600.  We've got a number of stays planned mostly North West (home) and one long trip down to the IOW with a week in front and one after to break up the trip.  We enjoy dinghy sailing and have bought a TOPPER boat to carry on the car roof along with the caravan in tow.

Can anyone recommend sites adjacent to or very close by suitable dinghy sailing lakes or beach fronts where we can pitch and launch from in relative ease.
