If they are in the T&C then if one uses a CCC site then you are subject to them and could face consequences if broken? Is that too simple?

While it does seem rather strange, reading the thread the official line seems to be :

"to ensure that the network is being used for touring as per our licences."

Perhaps the rule is more aimed at the licencing authorities to demonstrate they are enforcing the rules?

It is quite possible that members - who are now being questioned - booked pitches well in advance, and before the introduction of the new terms, so the terms to which they agreed at the time of booking do not include these.

And of course, if one can prove that one has a residential address then there is no problem. People just seem a bit surprised at this rule that's all. But I do find it intrusive. And I wonder why the C&CC has found a need to introduce it and the CAMC does not.

Not sure how effectively the policy can be policed anyway as many full timers / long termers have registered addresses for other 'business' purposes.

I echo JK's word "strange".

Indeed possible but as we don't know when 'last year' was or how many are affected it's  pointless to speculate in my view?

If they weren't in force when booking they are now so I assume they apply now and if those as you state are affected they could cancel their booking, or as you say find a way around it?

I don't find it intrusive just their rules and if anyone wants to stay at a CCC site then those are the rules, again simple.

No idea why the one club has and one hasn't, wouldn't affect me if the club did so too

60 nights in 3 months....?

Surely not that hard to find commercial sites/CAMC sites/lay byes for the other 30 nights....?

If you have got that much time to spend on camp sites you can surely find time to locate an alternative.....undecided
