Pitching your caravan corner on the pin ?

I understand fire regulations but why do we have to park our car on the offside of the caravan and run round the other side of the caravan with all your shopping ecspecially if it's raining ? Another new rule that hasn't been thought out properly , therefore why can't all the pegs be placed further over so you have caravan on the left then awning then car over on the right ? still having the same amount of spacing between caravans ! Makes sense to me and I'm sure with plenty of other members ?
