Pitches With or Without Awning

On some club sites you can book a pitch with or without an awning, same price. Why then when you get to the site your told to go find a pitch and let us know which one your on? What is the point of haveing duel bookings, if your not allocated to a pitch which you had booked. This isn't a problem for those not taking an awning but it could be for someone who has and finds there is no room for the awning on arrival. I have never been asked if I do or don't have an awning on all the sites I have visited and as above just been told, "Go find a pitch you like". I have no problems with that, its just it could pose problems for some who have an awning.

As any one had this problem in the past?
