Pitch Width and Members

I have visited a number of sites since the new legislation about width between outfits has been introduced. The last site visited was Garlieston which is excellently kept and maintained by both the wardens and relief wardens. A very welcoming office with daily information on tides and weather was appreciated. Due to the age of this site  however some pitches on the seaward side are quite restrictive and although the warden has done all he can to ensure the required 3m width between outfits and none awning pitches made it is still difficult for them to keep this as members seem to feel they can park cars on the wrongside or off the pitch thereby creating less than 3m between outfits. I think if teh warden was trying to constantly monitor this situation they would not have time to undertake the necessary maintainence jobs needed. Could members please give consideration to both othr users and the wardens role to enable this site to be enjoyed? We enjoyed our visit and some of the members comments in the visitors book were offensive to hard working wardens keeping an ageing toilet block in a first class condition.
