Pitch consideration

Sad Over the last few years I have stayed on many club sites throughout the UK and maybe it is just me but I have started to get very annoyed about the way other people think they can use the pitch that I am on as a shortcut. We do not put up an awing and on many occasions we have heard the noise of someone walking on the hardpitch gravel, thinking we might be having a visitor it is really rude to discover it is just someone using your pitch as a shortcut to the toliets, play area, site office or even the local chip van. I want the freedom to select any pitch on a site and not have to consider its location in regards to if it could be on a shortcut route. It would be nice to know if this was just a problem I have or is it wide spread. I did think that in among the many site rules we have the club should now include "use the main footpaths and do not short cut through someones pitch".

Thanks

Chris
