Pegs, dogs and pitch invaders!

Well,

I've just come back from my first ever stay on a CC site and I've experienced all three issues.

Pegs....

I parked well off the peg and facing the other pitch. Warden was happy, and the other chap said it was nice to see people to talk to rather than the back of their van!

Dogs....

Indeed, little scamps were out and about, I even heard one or two utter a bark occassionally. Dog pooh? Oh yes, there was a Indeed a pooh incident on the grass opposite me, the dog got caught short while being led off site and a dogs gotta do what a doggies got to dodo. No worries, owner cleaned it up. Some dogs were downright  friendly though, they kept expecting a pat on the head.

pitch invaders...

Indeed, people were walking back and by on the grass strip. Was this rudeness? Ignorance? Actually, it transpired it was curiosity. People seemed intrigued by seeing people with their doors and curtains open and sitting and wandering about outside their van and walking around the site saying hello and striking up conversations with passers by rather than growling at them from behind their curtains.

So, throw open your curtains, turn off those TV's and get out and go walkabout, the reaction you get might surprise you.
