Currently in Killin and have discovered a top tip to ensure an uninterrupted view from your pitch.  See attached  picture. This technique is best put into use between 13:00-14:00 each day.

I realise the equipment won't be available to everyone so for those of you who travel with a spare maybe think about loaning them out for an hour or two each day.

Love your humour.

We always avoid pitches next to ones with small cycles strewn across pitches and adjacent grassed areas.  These would be cheaper to maintain and less messy. wink

Our caravanning friends used to send their four children out to play as arrivals appeared, they usually had plenty of play space left...wink

Sadly not so many children on sites nowadays, hope the PJBs had a good holiday. smile

PS enjoy it while you can, they grow up too quickly.

🀣 So funny. We too used to try to avoid pitches with lots of bikes and toys, but sometime we then went on to meet the most delightful and entertaining little people. Make the most of it, when she’s 13 you might want to actually chuck her out of that opening.

PJB, smart idea. . .Have you considered hiring out your small but powerful ‘pitch clearance operative’ I think in these trying times it could be a money spinnerπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‚

So come the revolution when you can prebook your pitch, what do you do in this situation as the sites are so full, apparently, the pitches sans kids will be gone. tongue-out

I think some enterprising person would a make a very life like small child or even a range of children of different sizes complete with moving parts like heads and arms and complete with voices, screams, yells... that could be placed around the outfit and would do the same job?

Or just a loudspeaker of family life played inside the outfit with some windows left open?

Or even a projection onto the window like those Christmas laser projectors?

Or tape a flat screen tv over a window and play back a pre-arranged life size video?

Any of the above could also be avavible for hire?

Note all those ideas are my intellectual property and copyright but I'll take a 10% cut of any profits

Sounds like investing in small bikes and toys is what is required or why not  just go to an adults only site?

It's a view of gravel that we tend to avoid .....
