Leaving caravan unoccupied on a pitch

We are on a CC site at present and are due back again in three days time.  We want to leave the caravan on the pitch and pay the pitch fees for those three days, but appreantly you cannot do this as the maximum is 48 hours?  We would have to pay as iff the pitch was occupied for 1 night and the rest at pitch fees only.

Is this correct as I am unable to find that information on the website and do not have my handbook with me?  Thanks.
