Noticed on one or two Site Reviews comments on "Leaf Blowers" being used by Wardens on site to blow gravel back onto pitches. I have first hand expierience of this as we were enjoying the las few days of Summer (or should that be First few days?!) at Chapel lane site in Birmingham in September. We had heard the whine of the two stroke engine for 1/2 an hour before it appeared. As we sat outside the caravan cup of tea in hand the Warden came along blowing back the gravel straight onto our pitch, dust everywhere! Not a word of apology, or eye contact. These blowers are for LEAVES NOT GRAVEL. As one reviewer said, the Caravan Club risk compesation claims for paintwork, cracked windscreens, or even personel harm. Wouldn't it be a good idea to stop this practice? The job could be done quicker, quieter and cheaper with a standard yard broom.
