We stayed at Rookesbury Park a few weeks ago ( lovely site) prior to getting the ferry to the Isle of Wight the next day. I asked the warden why the early / late ferry area was so fully booked and was told that they are abolishing the late night arrival area altogether as well as this handy arragement for those that use the ferries at off peak hours. Personally I have never used either but it was nice to know they were there. Is it because too many people abused the system?
