Hi all. I'm relatively new so apologies if this has been discussed before.

We are going to Ferry Meadows, Peterborough soon and will be taking kayaks to explore the Nene. I know there have been issues with cycle thefts, does the same apply to kayaks? They are difficult to lock up. Also, is there easy access to the river. Many thanks.

The First Lake from the site about 10min walk(depending where you are pitched) has direct access to the river Nene as for thefts  as far as I can ascertain most have been by oportunist from non secured cycles or in other words self inflicted
