Information for those wanting to walk from sites

This year we have spent some time touring the UK using Club sites (rather than mainland Europe where we usually tour).    We have stayed on several sites where it was necessary to have transport to get out and about and some where it was an easy walk to local facilities and parks.
It would be great if the Club could consider :  a) giving details on site descriptions online of whether it is possible to walk to local facilities and b) how many miles of walks or cycle tracks can be accessed direct from each site.    Maybe even a specific section in the handbook giving this information too.

Probably our most enjoyable trip so far has been to Baltic Wharf.  We didn't need to take the car out for 5 days because of the availability of public transport together with the short walk to various interesting places, including the city centre.  Such a shame the site is closing in January.    Please Caravan Club managers - can you seek to establish more such sites.
