Has anyone visited this site and had problems with barking dogs, screaming from the adjacent site and motorcross bikes racing in the nearby Wareham Forest, I understand the site is next to the Dorset County Council Gypsy and Traveller site.

You’re not doing a good job of selling it to me!

Most reviewers seem happy enough, maybe just unlucky when you stayed? I can’t stand barking dogs, mental torture to me, but goes with the territory. I expect it, pleasantly surprised if it doesn’t happen.

We gave up on Hunters Moon and now use Birchwood just across the road. It’s dearer but far better and quieter and has no annoying neighbours.

The reviews of HM are a mixed bag and several mention the neighbours. Google aerial pics will show the set up.

Cat 19,  Wareham Forest Park is another alternative close by - very formal and five star if that’s what you like.

we've used HM (once!) and Wareham Forest which we enjoyed...both a bit out of town, busy road...

however, these days, we much prefer the THS meets at either the wareham Rugby Ground (a few hundred metres stroll to town) or at Furzebrook just up the road...

just returned from 5 great days at the Rugby Ground.
