A review as unable to leave it on correct web page.  Site situated right next to a busy A road...and yes it is busy.  To quote another member, it is the road that never sleeps!! Traffic goes by all times of day and night, however does calm down after about 10 pm.  However wakes you up again about 6 am!!  This morning, we were woken by a loud skidding noise down the road which was followed by a smash!! Yes someone had crashed at 6.10 am on a bank holiday monday morning!! Thankfully no serious injuries, but I think something should be done to address the safety of this road.  It's a 40mph but noone takes any notice of it and the road is used alot by HGV's.  As we were unlucky to have pitched near the road, it does make you wonder what if someone crashed and came ploughing through the hedge right into you in your caravan!! Some sort of barrier needs to go up, not only to help to reduce the noise but also for safety.  Also, when sitting outside your van you can't hear one another speak and in the end we didnt bother and put the chairs away.  Like to have door open on caravan and fly screen across for fresh air but noisy road spoils it!! On a positive note, site is handy to walk into Henley, but again you have to cross over on a bend and dont hang about when crossing that road!! We have visited some lovely places, including Marlow, Wallingford, Great Missenden and also Windsor.  We also drove to Highclere Castle (about 40 mins) to see that...good for any Downton Abbey fans!! You need to get there early to get tickets at the venue otherwise book in advance on website.  Wardens seemed friendly and helpful when we saw them, site is maintained well and showers/loos clean.  The kids play area is not great...not much on it when compared to other sites (broadway and Chester).  Dog walk not great just made of mulchy stuff, no grass and right next to kids playarea.  I think the site is abit higgledy piggledy perhaps needs some rearranging, you have to drive across pitches and grass past other peoples pitches..  Electricity points are in odd positions and there are lots of trailing wires...not good health and safety.  Sorry to be negative, but just being truthful.  The TV is pretty poor, booster system not great.  Site details state TV is poor.  Our freeview wouldnt work that well either from our aerial on the van.  Ok if you have satellite though.  Anyway, glad we came and we have enjoyed our weekend.  It was good to come and try out and see the surrounding area.  Thanks.
