Hi everyone. as per the title- I looked at a site and can't remember for the life of me where it was or the name of it! So if possible I'm hoping that one of you brilliant lot out there may possibly recognise it from my description.

It's a touring site located on a river. the picture of the site showed caravans pitched with the hitch facing the river, there was either a bench or a small decked bit on the pitch and you you could access the river from the pitch. In one of the pics I seem to recall a caravan with a (possibly) blue awning facing the river.

There was a gravel bank and a few trees / bushes along the bank

I think it was located in England as we looked in June and ended up choosing to go to Scotland instead.

Does anyone recognise this place from my description please?

Thank you in advance.

I googled "riverside caravan sites" setting it to find images but it did not come up with anything near matching your description.

Thanks to all for replies and help so far.

The site was definitely on a river, and not in Scotland. We ended up choosing scotland over the other site but like an idiot I never wrote or saved the details!

I'm not sure if it was a club site to be honest, probably not - Maybe a CL.

To be honest, I've found the CAMC website rather frustrating.  It would make so much more sense to be able to 'save' favourite sites and CLs much as you can on most websites offering a large choice ie EBay, On the market.com etc etc.

If this was the case, you could just go to your favourites to check.

Maybe this option is there and I've just not seen it?

No, it’s not there. Don’t forget this is the CAMC website which barely has the ability to turn pages at times.🙄

You can save favourites if you use the App on a tablet or smart phone.
