Hardstandings at Burrs CC Site

I don't know what they use on Burrs CC Site for the hard standings but they defeated my Screwfix Turbo Screws that I use, and I ended up buying a lump hammer as well as my blackpudding at Bury Market. So far it is the only Site that has done this. How do others find the 'constitution' of the Club's hardstandings, and are they all constructed the same way?
