Gowerton cc site ground water

We have just got back from a 9 night stay here.
First may i compliment the warden team, they were the most friendly and helpful bunch I have met for a long time.

Lucky enough to get a hardstanding which was obviously wet on the surface due to recent rain.
Just after the awning was up & tea being taken the rain came again. 3/4 of the awning flooded about 30mm deep & took until next pm to clear. This was repeated the day before we left.
I feel that the warning for motorvans should be expanded to advise tourers using awnings of flood risk. Its not just about getting your outfit on & off.
