Gatwick Club site.

We arrived on this site just over a week ago and when erecting the awning I hurt my back hammering in the pegs.  I only wanted to secure the awning, not break through the earths mantle. During the week the wifi went down for two days, despite only getting 0.89mbps download. After ringing AirAngel it came back on later at the same dial up speed. Is this what we pay for. Our next site is at Bransgore and have been told by friends the wifi is no better there. Come Sunday we decided, due to my back, to stay another week at Gatwick to help my back get better instead of going to Fairlight Wood, another site which now has no wifi at all.

Come closer, there's more Yell

No, not the wifi, that is still as slow, but when taking the dogs out for their last piddle last night we noticed a large motorhome on the late arrivals area and then a caravan arrived. Kids everywhere playing in the dark, even toddlers, when my suspicions became aroused. These was confirmed this morning when the warden came around apologising for the state of the shower block. Yes, Irish tinkers. When the warden asked them to leave they said they could be gone in 20 minutes for £500. They are still there and there seems very little hope of getting rid of them in the near future and I did notice they had hooked up to the electric bollards.

It would be nice to hear from Grimstead Towers what is being done to address these problems, the continuous problems with Air Angel and the security of club sites. Certainly key pads on the shower block doors would have helped although that is no deterrent to these scum bags.
