Excellent site between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

There is a CC site on the outskirts of Glasgow and a CC site in the city of Edinburgh. However there is also an excellent site run by West Lothian council within a Beautiful country park set in the hills between Bathgate and Linlithgow. This is almost half way between the two cities and within 45 mins of both.  It is called Beecraigs country park. http://www.visitscotland.com/info/accommodation/beecraigs-caravan-and-camping-site-p206311  Lovely surroundings excellent base to tour central Scotland and they offer discounts for CC and C&CC members.
