Electricity on CC sites

Reet then folks I ask an earnest question here, one which I firmly believe needs serious consideration.

Electricity on site IMHO is being abused, no, not by the tourer, but  by the CC, how many times do you walk the dog or wander out yourself at night and think "hmm, what a waste of electric"  there are many areas lit for safety reasons but there are too many lit for no real purpose at all.

The last 4 CC sites ive been on all have the same literature regards spending £4 million a year on electric, £4million ? All 4 sites ? Come on, its a broadsheet.

OK we do our bit with no reduction, how about the CC do their bit.

There are many areas that could be looked at without the need to compromise safety.
