Dog shower/hose point

As an owner with a very active cockerpoo we like to get out and about when we visit any of the club sights. This does quite often end up with a very muddy, wet and seldom tired dog ready to go again anytime. My question is "why don't club sites provide dedicated hose points to clean the dog? I would be prepared to provide my own length of hose and shower head, all the site would need to supply is a hozelock type connection. Some members I have spoken to on this topic say "oh I just use the motor home point waste water hose". However in these days of cross contamination and 'elfs' is this a good idea? What do you think? Is it something that should be provided or am I in a minority of 1.
