Disappointing news from Ferry Meadows

Took a call at around  7.15pm tonight (Wednesday) from the Wardens team at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough advising us (and our friends in Halifax) that we would not be able to get our pre-booked pitch for tomorrow and the weekend because of waterlogging :-(.  Think there will be a number of disappointed caravanners I should imagine, and maybe even some who get turned away.  Everywhere else appears to be booked up, so looks like we are having to spend a weekend at home!
