Disabled showers

After having a lovely few days at Freshwater East, my only criticism is the disabled showers.  The support bars are not in the right position to hold onto while showering should you need to stand and the shower head is not adjustable.  The shower head is fixed in an upright position with the jet directed straight at the shower curtain, which means that should you sit down the water goes straight over your head, so the only option is to stand.  With a few minor adjustments they could be made suitable for most disabilities.  Has anyone else encountered badly designed disabled facilities?
