Directions to Longleat

Hi,

Coming from South Wales, along the M4, the sat nav directions to Longleat take us through Bath, and over a tiny bridge with a toll. Having recently been over the bridge, it does not seem very caravan friendly, and I dont recall having to go over it, the last time I visited Longleat. Is this currently the most sensible route to Longleat from the M4?

Thanks

Ian

In your shoes I’d stay on the M4 to jcn 17 and use the A350 via Warminster. It might be a bit further but there’s no way I’d want to tow through Bath.

Btw, you never said how your journey to Looe went.

Good morning, thanks very much, I'll take a look.

The trip to Looe was fantastic. We left at 8am, got to the M5 at 9; there was a bit a traffic on the motorway, but it moved along and we arrived at 1 or 2pm, which was perfect.
