Club reminders for members

We are older members and find that the Club emailing "the number of sleeps to our next adventure " quite infantile. Ok if you are emailing children but we are not.Guess this a marketing ploy and they have no idea of the age demographics of the members. Perhaps the club needs some "older" marketing members to balance the "children" in the unit. As an aside as an older member I can flip through the club magazine in 5-10 minutes as I cannot afford the cars tested and would not entertain most of the caravans tested. In fact the magazine is hardly worth the paper it is printed on at the moment for older members. Trendy is good in the right area but this is not. Is anyone of the same opinion?

Is there a direct coralation between the older we get and the grumpier we become? Life's too short to get 'excited' about such minor things isn't it ?

While I don't like that expression it is actually less ambiguous than the number of days, as the day it is used and the day of departure are part days, and some people count one or the other, or both.

A bit like the expression used in medical and legal circles - "age next birthday".

Trouble is we are on our way home from a lovely time in France, so are not terribly excited.🤔
