Chocks Away

We had a bit of a problem levelling our motorhome on a pitch recently. Our newest van has rear corner steadies and when we had our caravans we always took chocks and wooden blocks with us to level up the steadies etc.. We totally forgot we might need them for our motorhome (we do have wheel ramps) and faced with a pitch that sloped every each way our steadies were left dangling in the air. OH, being enterprising leapt into the adjoining woods and came back with two recently cut tree trunks! We couldn't reach our bikes on our rear bike rack either, they were too high off the ground. We spent a wobbly night and moved pitch the next day. We heard someone asking the warden if there were any blocks or chocks around but overheard that due to H & S non were available. So remember to take your own chocks and blocks!
