Centralised rubbish points

Staying on the Willingcott site I discovered that the rubbish bins had been moved from the service points to a centralised area near reception.

A fellow camper informed me that he had seen this happening on other club sites.

Is this a new policy being rolled out ?

Perhaps people would care to comment on this thread with a simple :

a. I don't like it     OR

b. I don't mind.

I'll start with :

I don't like it

Can I please add a further option, Chelty?

C. : I prefer it.

My preference is, C, I prefer it.
Quieter all round. We never, ever selected a pitch anywhere near the rubbish bins, and don’t mind taking our bags of rubbish / recycling to the main collection point near to reception.

🙂

I don’t mind.
The C&CC already operate the system. They usually site them near the exit, just drop it off on your way out.

C. for us. Having been to a couple of sites over here in the last year both had euro bins outside the site and used by the locals as well as the site.

I don’t really care. Marginally less convenient having bins at the entrance, but that is only because we have a bin in the van for general waste, got rid of when full, and the recycling tends to go on the floor near the door. We would usually get rid of that each time we had some, so by the entrance maybe too far to walk. So we just get rid when we take the van out.

Our favourite site has a recycling Centre  well removed from the site and its quite an expedition We either drop stuff off on our way out or go on our bikes

All club sites, well the ones I've been on, have a various recycling bins for various items and have done for a few years. Nothing new
