I read elsewhere that C&CC are closing some sites and cancelling people’s bookings due to staff shortages. Sure enough, it's true and they've updated their website today. I hope nobody here is affected.

I'm intrigued as to why the Trudgians have suddenly become the go-to font of knowledge for some posters for all things caravanning and sites and what they say must be correct?

As said upthread they appear nice but it is a youtuber with not as much experience as most on here and while they may be good for technical aspects their views on sites and just that - their views.

The youtube video is a man giving his opinion. Why would he lie about his opinion?

Does it really matter what others think. Surely it is more about what the individual likes or wants. In this country where booking is the norm, I am very happy with the sameness of both the CAMC and C&CC offerings. You know, more or less exactly what to expect and although there are a few places we wouldn’t go back to, that wasn’t down to the quality of the sites. Over there where we don’t have to pre book, we are more flexible. If we don’t like the look of it, we move on.

Before LVs in this country really started to get so popular, it was the same as over the channel is at times now, (do not like what you see move on) in this country, especially at peak times we are now in the situation do I chance trying to find somewhere else in this area that we  want to be

Oh and K, that includes 11 in Scotland which apart from one all had good play areas, in fact two had some of the best we've seen.

Think you need to re-read my post (and subsequent ones)  there ET, I did indeed say it was his opinion but Burt appears to suggest it must be the a fact.

I had never heard of the Trudgians until an hour ago but have to admire the quality of his production.  Only watched a few minutes  but to get 47k subscribers and the advertising revenue that goes with it is some achievement.

That's not really huge in YouTube terms, David.

No matter how good the quality of his productions, it's still only his take on things and counts for little. Many of us choose club sites because they suit us, you included, and we don't need someone else to verify, or otherwise, our choices. That's why I'm surprised we were recommended to watch to obtain the supposedly true picture of club sites.
