Caravan Club in Bloom

Britain in Bloom has been a big success. I wonder if the Caravan Club might start planning to make its own caravan sites more colourful next spring and summer.

All the big chiefs from East Grinstead went to the Chelsea Flower Show. I wonder what ideas they came back with? Something to brighten up the wastelands of sites like Blackpool South or Burford or Wyatts Covert . Please not a twee little garden corner, with gnomes. But who's seen the expanse of wild flowers in Plymouth this summer outside the Armada Centre? Something like that really would brighten up those sterile sites.  Is the Club environmentally friendly, or just mouthing the words?

Is it time for the Club to hire some talent as a follow up to Chelsea and make their sites bloom and shine? Less mowing, and let the flowers grow. And perhaps a competition and a prize for the winner.
