We have been traveling for 3 weeks on the Hebrides.although the bad weather we had. A wonderful time. There Are  not many campsites . We liked ver much the site in Borve at Barra, with the beautiful views and the very kind owner, Donald, also the postman.we had a bad experiance, and with us others, at Minch Vieuw, Harris. The older woman may need the money, but the M.H and Caravans were put very close together.we were lucky to havesome space to sit outsite! She asked £18 with hook up, for us the same without( she had for only 3).It was very, very basic. An other woman had to pay£20, because she happened to have a 20note in her hand. A contrast was the site at Seabost, Lewis, also£18, with everything very much in order and a very friendly, welcoming owner! The people, that we have met were all very friendly and very happy with their. life at the Hebrides! Shopping, getting fuel , or money from the bank: no problem at all. Even the midges behaved very friendly, because of the weather I suppose!
