Just returned from the most beautiful site at Black Knowl in the new forest. Beautifully kept site in stunning location. We were met with very friendly, helpful team for our second stay in a CC site.  On day 2 Having discovered my car had a flat battery,  due to me rather stupidly leaving the lights on I called the RAC. The guy turned up quickly and within moments my bonnet was up and he was at work. Now I have a rather gorgeous Range Rover vogue, not an old banger. We had done nothing to annoy the wardens, were parked up in a corner quietly however............... within about 3 mins of the RAC arriving the warden had literally run up the hill to our pitch complaining bitterly that the guy had not checked in with her. I apologised saying I didnt realise he had to and that I should have informed her that we had a problem and that the RAC would be arriving. She then went onto say that only one car per pitch was allowed and could he park his van down in the car park at the start of the site. He explained that he couldnt do this as the Van contained all the tools etc needed. Again the warden complained that only one vehicle per pitch was allowed. Now this seemed rather amazing to me given the reason the guy was there, sadly this wasnt the only time e saw her 'go off on one'.  A little later on going down to the toilets there she was again, refilling the toilet roll holders. I said hello to which she muttered that she shouldnt be working at that time of the evening, the toilet rolls had been replaced that morning and that the bloody kids must have used them all up. She then said if it was to continue happening ie the toilet rolls being used , she would be forced to ban everyone from using the toilets !! Other instances included her husband I presume literally shouting at some poor chap because his car was about a metre onto the next doors pitch, (which was empty at the time). He then shouted at the people next door to us who were bbq'ing and a dog from another pitch managed to get off its lead and follow the scent to the bbq, chap on next pitch caught the dog and returned it to its appropiate caravan but on his way was 'caught' by mr warden and shouted at literally for not having the dog on the lead. When he tried to explain he was just told to sort it now as all dogs had to be on leads on the site and he would be asked to leave if he felt he couldnt comply with these rules......

All in all a wonderful site but these wardens were unbelievable..... stopping people using the loos because they had to replace the toilet paper twice a day???  Aparently there are 3 sets of wardens there, I hope the other 2 are a bit nicer!!!
