Bicton Park Gardens

We're heading down to Putts Corner for a ew days on Thursday. We're thinking of visiting Bicton Park while were there to take advantage of our Gardener's World 2 for 1 tickets. Has anyone been and is it worth spending say half a day there. The blurb say dogs are allowed on leads in the gradens - is that crrect (we have been caught out in the past.)
