Best route to Min Y Don Harlech

I rather thought you would get a better reply than I can give? I have towed a caravan from Min y Don to Shrewsbury many years ago and I recall I went via Dolgellau so I guess I must have used the A470 and A458 to the A5. I don't recall there being any problems.

Hopefully you will get a response from someone with more recent experience.
