Hello all. Its my first post here. I've only been towing for a couple of years and I'm looking for some advice re best route, not particularly the fastest, between Neath, South Wales and Chew Valley caravan Park.

I'm obviously using the M4 across the bridge  but not sure which route/junct to take after that which is less hassle. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Many thanks

From memory (always risky!) you’ll need to approach via the A368 and you can do that from the west via the M5/A38 avoiding the worst of Bristol traffic or from the east via A4/A37 which will involve more traffic. There is a narrow section in Blagdon from the west, but can’t recall any obstacles from the east side.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure whether to come around Bristol from Avonmouth or travel further along the M4 and come off at Junct 19 and skirt around that way. Sounds like traffic either way.

Thanks again.
