I would not like to take the risk of cycling on the roads in that area at peak summer periods, even if other road users have familerised them selves with the latest amendments to the highway codeundecided

We've cycled from the Lymington THS to Bucklers Hard/Beaulieu on many an occasion...it's all on tiddly side roads without a car in sight.
If the pop up is pitched at folk who won't/can't drive a MH a few miles, or won't/can't ride a bike a few miles, or won't/can't use their own shower/toilet, or won't/can't manage a couple of nights without EHU and think £37 a night is a fair price for such a site, then it's perfect.

....but that won't be us on all counts.

As to electric bikes, I suppose it depends on if there is anywhere secure to park them. We don’t have any, but given there cost I wouldn’t fancy leaving them chained up while we went around the exhibits, or carrying the battery.

We would simply lock them securely to the bike racks/railings/lamp post like everywhere else, batteries are locked on with an ABUS lock so no need to carry anything, perhaps if you bought one you would know about them?

As Michael says, no point in having them if you're worried about using them. Ours are valuable but we bought them to use, not look at. They are our primary transport and are used pretty much daily...carrying batteries around?...not a chance.

we have good insurance and the best locks we could get. It would annoy the hell out of us if they got knicked, but others don't sit in their cars all day in case a car thief comes along...or do they?

Moho being secondary BB, I like it-mixing it up a bit. 20Kms for a warm up & leave the bus at home, a man after my own heart👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
