Baltic Wharf Redevelopment

Saw something on Facebook about the Baltic Wharf redevelopment. According to the local paper the current development might not get planning permission because of the flood risk (sounds familiar!) It seems that the plans intended to build below ground level so I imagine, if it is rejected they will have to replan from ground level upwards.

On the plus side, if this causes further delays it could mean that the camping site may get another extension?

These are the original plans but I expect the foundations would need very deep piles in such a water logged area. When you think the original buildings were all waterside wharfs and this place is extremely close to the Avon it's a big gamble with rising water levels. As you say DK it might just extend life for the caravan site.
